PAST TRUSTEES

Danny Cloghan

  • Special THANKS to Danny Cloghan, the Saba Rose Button Foundation Chairman for 11 years. We are so grateful for your expertise and guidance. Thank you for all you have achieved for the children we support through the Saba Rose Button Foundation. You would always put Saba at the forefront of every decision made. We will miss you sitting at the head of our table.

VALE The Hon. Kim Chance

  • Kimberley Maurice Chance, Saba’s uncle.

Kim was one of our original Trustees when the Saba Rose Button Foundation was established in 2012.

Regrettably and sadly Kim passed away February 2017. Totally unexpected, Kim died of a heart attack near his property in Dandaragan north of Perth.

Formerly the Minister for Agriculture in WA, Kim grew up in Doodlakine in the Eastern wheatbelt of Western Australia.

Kim always had a passion for agriculture and Agribusiness, so it was no surprise that the farm he purchased in Dandaragan was for the sole purpose of accommodating camels for the establishment of camel milk production.

In addition to his Ministry Kim also represented the Labour Party in the Agricultural area between 1992 and 2009 and was leader of the party in the Legislative Council. During this period, Kim served on a number of Ministerial councils for Forestry, Fisheries and Trade.

At the time of his passing Kim was consulting to the UN on food safety while based in Abu Dhabi.

Kim had a significant impact in the formation and governance of the SRBF and will be forever missed.

We are continually reminded of his presence and contribution to Saba’s Foundation and miss him dearly.

Rick Martin

  • THANKS to Rick Martin for being a valuable member of our SRBF Trustee Board. We are grateful for all you bought to the table throughout our meetings. Having a niece with additional needs gave you an insight into what families live with and we were honoured to have you as a Trustee of the SRBF.

VALE Ian Williams

  • Ian bought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the SRBF Board of Trustees. We miss him dearly around the table.

Ian Williams BCom, CPA retired after four decades as a senior executive in the financial services sector working for large insurance companies with with state, national and international operations and as CEO of a Credit Union. He has and has had a number of positions as a non-executive director in the private and government sector. Ian was involved with the Saba Rose Foundation since inception and was always delighted to see Saba’s wonderful progress and that of other children who have benefited from the dedicated work of Saba’s family and their incredible circle of friends.
