SRBF Shimmer Ball 2025

What a stunning evening of What an amazing evening of connection, awareness, community and generosity.

We are blown away with the success of this extraordinary event - as a celebration of the SRBF village and as a fundraising platform for the beautiful children that we support.

The Shimmer Ball was an emotional one with moving speeches, as ironically, Saba had been taken to PCH (code 1 via ambulance) with FLU A that very morning. It certainly was a night to remember the children we fight for and raise funds for! A night to recognise that, despite all the planning in the world, the lives of additional needs families can change in a heartbeat. This really connects us to the cause.

Special thanks to all who were involved: those guests who attended, our volunteers, styling, tech work, our MC and auctioneer on the night Tim Gossage, entertainment, donors, raffle participants, those who bought auction pieces and who donated generously - THANK YOU! A night like this is not possible without your support!

Heartfelt appreciation to Rommel Niblett for his emotive speech, sharing the impact of a child with additional needs, from a father’s perspective. It was so moving and powerful. Thank you for our touching ‘Welcome to Country’ Dr. Len Collard - you are marvellous.

To our phenomenal entertainers - Ryan, Reigan, Lucy, Vonty Sounds, Fliptease, Sam, Renae, All Star Dance and Performance, Bowie, Felix the Band and DJ Swami - you all wowed the crowd with your incredible talent, moving arrangements and stunning performances. We are in awe and just so grateful.

The Crown Grand Ballroom looked absolutely stunning, thanks to Gem + Alisha at LaMyrtle Style House, OMG Events, Encore, Entour Production group and Phenomenon Events. The arrangements, lighting and table settings were beautiful.

Gratitude to Shout For Good and Helping Hand Group for their support with ticketing and our auctions. We are thankful for the role that you have played in assisting us to fundraise for the kids.

To our exceptional sponsors and our VIP guests - we are honoured by your support of all that we do and truly appreciate your involvement in this special evening. Huge thanks to the amazing team at ‘At Home Care’, the generous ‘True North’ family, the ‘Perth Corporate Rumble’ crew, the ‘Little Bodies Therapy’ team, Anna Fry and friends plus the esteemed dignitaries in attendance.

PROUDLY BENEFITING THE SABA ROSE BUTTON FOUNDATION

This stunning event, intimate in nature, is very close to our hearts.

“Mark and Liz’s mission here is to shine a light on the story of Saba Rose, the Foundation and the many other little ones like their own daughter, Winter, that rely on the assistance from the foundation and Team Saba. Mark and Liz have a unique opportunity to assist in raising funds for the Saba Rose Button Foundation in the hope to provide specialised equipment and/or physical intense care for a child with Cerebral Palsy and other movement disorders.”

We are so grateful to have received $67,000 to date - helping to make the lives of those children living with additional needs a little better. We are so grateful for the support from Mark and Liz, the Meelup Farmhouse family and all who attend. Thank you X X

Perth Corporate Rumble – presented Gobsmacked Sports and supported by Counterbalance Fitness

We are so appreciative to be a charity partner of the awesome Perth Corporate Rumble.

‘Perth Corporate Rumble offers a unique and unforgettable experience designed to unleash the full potential of every participant. This spectacular event takes place at the luxurious Crown Towers, infusing the dazzle and allure of a Las Vegas performance into Perth. It serves as an ideal platform for individuals to demonstrate their abilities to friends and family, or in the famous words of Rocky Balboa, “what they’ve got left in the basement”. This remarkable evening is made even more meaningful through the funds raised to support the Saba Rose Button Foundation.’

It is our pleasure to see the growth of each participant, to enjoy the community that this partnership has formed and to benefit from the generosity of those who attend each Perth Corporate Rumble event. Thank you for helping us to help our own little fighters! X X

Serenity Wellness Collective Luncheon

We are honoured to be one of the charities chosen by the Serenity Wellness Collective. Owner Narelle has supported the Saba Rose Button Foundation with her gorgeous annual luncheon on a number of occasions. This year’s event featured moving speeches from our beloved Amanda Archibald and the ever-inspiring Madison Heady.

Guests were treated to a delicious two course meal at the beautiful Boatshed Restaurant and shed a tear or two as Amanda and Madison shared their lived experiences of living with disability. The fundraising raffle was filled with fabulous prizes from a range of local businesses and the room was filled with love! Thank you Narelle and team for a wonderful day of community and connection.
