    Interactive Speech Pathology
    Certified Practising Speech Pathologist

Yvette is passionate about every person having a voice, no matter how significant their challenges may be. She has focussed most of her 18 years as a speech pathologist working in the area of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Yvette has supported people from 9 months to 46 years of age, believing that nobody is too young or too old to begin with AAC. She continues to increase her skills and knowledge through ongoing quality professional development, attending interstate and international conferences and training to deliver ‘best practice’ intervention in Western Australia. Due to her strong interest and work in AAC, Yvette is currently one of the WA representatives for our national AAC Community, AGOSCI.

Yvette currently works in her private practice Interactive Speech Pathology, collaborating with families, educators, therapists and other supporters to implement various AAC systems with individuals across varied settings. She is also a certified PODD (Pragmatic Organisation Dynamic Display) trainer and has used PODD communication systems extensively in her practice.
